Leadership Programs

GMF's Leadership Development Programs cultivates the next generation of leaders on both sides of the Atlantic by fostering a community of leaders with diverse life experiences and political perspectives along with a commitment to the transatlantic partnership. Financial contributions directly support our mission to foster a new generation of leaders dedicated to securing democracies, combating disinformation, and promoting inclusive and equitable societies on both sides of the Atlantic.

The Marshall Memorial Fellowship (MMF) is GMF’s flagship transatlantic leadership development program. Created in 1982, this program targets mid-career professionals across business, government, civil society and media and equips them with nuanced insights into transatlantic affairs, leadership skills to navigate complex global challenges, and meaningful connections with an array of stakeholders. The fellowship includes six months of virtual briefings and leadership training, followed by 21 days of immersive exchange across five cities in the US and Europe.

See your impact

Your donations enable us to offer fellowships and alumni engagement opportunities that equip participants with critical 21st-century leadership skills and facilitate their integration into a vibrant, transatlantic alumni community.

By investing in GMF’s leadership programs, you play a vital role in ensuring that our shared democratic values endure and adapt to contemporary challenges. Your support helps create a network of well-prepared individuals working collaboratively across borders for a prosperous future.

In a time when global cooperation and strong democratic institutions are more important than ever, your contributions empower us to continue developing and connecting leaders who are ready to tackle the pressing issues of our time. Every donation makes a tangible impact, reinforcing our commitment to a thriving, resilient, and interconnected transatlantic community.

Thank you for your support!
